August - Out and About

Met up with Darren for a few drinks. Have not seen since we left the UK 2.5 years ago. Such a great laugh...

Darren & Marc - Kings of their Castle (lager)!

I decided to go walk-a-bout in London...

My favourite building - find it such an inspiration - have no idea why, but fell in love with it 13 years ago.

While I was walking along the Embankment these jets flew over head - really pretty but oh-so-noisy!

Saw these guys building sand castles. They each had a bucket that you could throw money into, apparently the guys with the most money collected are the winners. The unfortunate part is, this is the Thames sand and I dread to think how disgusting it must be. eeekkk!

Walked into this building which I thought was the Aquarium... eerrmmmm. Blush blush... when asking which way to the sharks they looked at me and said "You do realise this is UniLever?" Doh!!!

Haha
St Pauls Cathedral

Can totally understand why Lady Di was married here... it's magical!

Afterwards headed along the river

They have redeveloped this area and it's looking amazing. I've missed London.

This piano was bolted to the side walk and anyone could play. This guy was amazing, could listen to him for hours - so talented.

Obviously can't bypass the Tate Modern without stopping to view my second favourite painting:

Metamorphosis of Narcissus by Salvador Dali

Got to love it.

The most beautiful park in London - hidden in the heart of Richmond

Love coming here - such a gorgeous views!

Have I mentioned how much I'm loving being back?!
