My apologies for not writing during this time, it was a very personal and private time for me and I have been in much debate over what to share. So I'll summarise instead:
September:
Moved to SA on my own for 4 months for IVF treatment. Sue Mylrea, best friends mom, passed away. She was everything I aspired to be in life, what a lady and such an inspiration. I love and think of you often.
October:
1st round of IVF failed. Met up with best friend for a weekend at the berg - a great time for some R & R.
November:
2nd round of IVF. My most wonderful Aunt in the world died. Lynne I miss you so incredibly much. I will think of you and smile, remembering the good times as you would have so wanted. I can’t believe you have been gone for 6 months - my heart is still broken. I love you dearly.
December:
Great month. In-Laws family reunion in PE South Africa. So good to be with Marc again. We also found out we’re pregnant. Also Congratulations to Daniel and Kimmy on the birth of their second. Celebrated New Years in Knysna.
January:
Left SA headed back to Finland. A day later Tiger, only cat I have ever loved, was killed by a hit and run. I only have one thing to say about that - KARMA!
Towards the end of Jan I miscarried.
February:
Two weeks after we lost our baby, Marc’s mom passed away. What a soft pillow we rest our weary hearts on knowing you are in a better place with the Lord now. Miss you Gaynor.
March:
A month of mourning, quietness and solitude. I also started to write my first book.
April:
Started an internet business and continued working on my book. Marc and I also decided it was time to leave Finland and head back to the UK for a while.
And that brings us to May...
